The brave firefighters at Station #28 work hard to keep Riverside safe. They also serve as host for our monthly neighborhood meetings.

Our existing Fire Station #28 building is due to be replaced as the ground breaking for a brand-new facility will take place very soon.  The new station will be located on Hollywood Road directly across the street from the Riverside Community Garden.

Not only will a new fire station improve the local facility for our hard-working firefighters, it will also include an Atlanta Police Department mini precinct and a new community room that will mean we no longer have to impose on the firefighters to move the engines out of the bay for our monthly Riverside Neighborhood Association meetings!
