Tragedy struck this morning as a devastating house fire gutted the home at 2425 Lowe Street. Thankfully there was only one resident home at the time and she was able to make it to safety before the entire home when up in flames. The three adult residents are safe but they are now homeless as their family home was uninsured at the time of the fire.

We are planning a fundraiser to help this family to recuperate from such a tremendous loss, but right now there are immediate needs that must be addressed. Red Cross Disaster Relief has stepped in to provide emergency housing for the next week through Thursday night, so the first thing we need to do is help clothe our neighbors. The family’s clothing needs are noted here.
